North Ridge Slate Product Overview

Vicwest True Nature North Ridge Slate metal roof shingles are designed to closely mimic the look of real slate tiles while delivering the strength and performance of steel roofing. The profile includes a realistic shadow line, hidden fasteners, and a premium architectural appearance.

The Quadra-Loc system locks the shingles on all four sides to improve water-tightness and reduce uplift from heavy wind and rain. Deep keyways help direct water away from the roof surface for improved performance.

Certifications and Testing

North Ridge Slate is certified to CCMC, Florida Building Code, and Texas Department of Insurance standards. The data sheet also lists Miami-Dade approval for 26 GA.

Testing includes fire resistance, external fire exposure, wind uplift, dynamic pressure water infiltration, salt spray, accelerated weathering, impact resistance, traffic load, material specification, abrasion, coating quality, film thickness, and total material thickness.

Available Colour Families

North Ridge Slate is available in Expressence architectural print colours such as Midnight Storm and Mica Gray, plus Signature Matte SMP coated colours such as Ebony, Shadow Deep Grey, and Burnished Slate. Final colour selection should always be confirmed using actual samples.
