ROOFNOW™ Assistant Transparency & Explainability (RNKC)

Transparency and explainability are foundational principles of the ROOFNOW™ Assistant. Users must be able to understand how information is generated, where it comes from, and what limitations apply.

For this reason, the assistant operates under clearly defined rules established by the ROOFNOW™ Knowledge Center (RNKC).

Source Transparency

All information provided by the ROOFNOW™ Assistant originates from content that has been formally published within RNKC. The assistant does not access external databases, third-party websites, or unpublished material.

If a topic is not documented within RNKC, the assistant will explicitly state that the information is not yet covered.

Explainable Knowledge Flow

The assistant functions as an interpretive layer, meaning it restates, summarizes, or clarifies existing RNKC content using simplified language while preserving original definitions and intent.

It does not introduce new conclusions, opinions, or assumptions beyond what is documented in RNKC.

Bounded Responses

To maintain educational integrity, the ROOFNOW™ Assistant is intentionally restricted. It does not provide estimates, instructions, recommendations, or comparative judgments.

These boundaries ensure that responses remain factual, verifiable, and aligned with RNKC’s long-term educational mission.
